Mr. Isaac Osei is New Managing Director of TOR

Mr. Isaac Osei is the new Managing Director of Tema Oil Refinery. He replaces Mr. Kwame Awuah-Darko, who was appointed in 2015 to head TOR.

He previously worked as the Chief Executive Officer at Ghana Cocoa Board where he improved the operations of the company. He served also as Ghana’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, and was a Member of Parliament for the Subin Constituency for 8 years

He brings his unique mix of corporate and political experience combined with his rich expertise in economics and commodity trading to bear in his new role as the MD of TOR.

    The general Ghanaian public will like to know the background of the new MD and especially his suitability for this important position in our energy sector. He could also indicate his vision for TOR now knowing the recent history and the difficulties the nation has been plunged into due to lack of leadership at TOR and the entire energy and power sector.
